Question: Under my Username it says that I'm a "Tufted Titmouse". What?! Did I read that right?? What does that mean? Am I a mouse's tit that's tufted? Could someone make sense out of this for me? :?

Grumpy Cat doesn't like being referred to as a mouse.

I walked to central campus tonight in the dark while it rained and sat under the bell tower for a long time and just pondered where I'm going.

When my blood pressure was measured at the doctor's office, it was very high. So he told me to try it at home. Funnily enough, at home it's much lower. I just can't help feeling nervous around people (not just doctors) and that must be contributing to my high blood pressure.

Some people frighten me. It's nothing they've done or said, it is just this something in their substance that scares me.

I've been doing my garden pruning my roses and weeding and planting some Snapdragons.

Moving still stinks. Or maybe it's me... I have worked all afternoon in the heat. Probably both moving and I stink.

I don't know what's worse: that a Blu-ray company is asking $38 for a 13-episode TV season, or that I'm probably going to give it to them when I get paid next month.

I had planned to go to sleep right about now, but I got startled by a spider. Any one found crawling on my floor at night must die. According to UC Davis, my area has no brown recluses, despite many misattributions. I might have brought it from TX, but I couldn't count its eyes after smashing it.

There we go, I just blew $400 on a carpet shampooer, from Bing Lee.

I tried to buy the one from TVSN but it wouldn't let me empty my cart when I tried to get rid off the allergen solution they tried to flog as well (it cost $70 extra). It's like, they advertised the machine for $399 with free P&H (!) but then, oh we're sorry, you have to buy this stuff with it too, and whoopsies, the stuff isn't eligible for the free P&H so that will be another $20.

I'm taking the expensive way out of my carpet issue, but since I'm too embarrassed to bring a professional in and that Britex machine from Colesworths/Woololes was an epic fail I figured why not. And I'll probably needing it regularly with the cats anyway.

Time flows oddly by now and then...

Why does waiting feel like an eternity when I really want it to end, at the same time not realizing it's been hours or even days had already passed when I need those times back?

Aaaand I'm fine with it so far. Ahahaha

I get the green "unread posts" icon even for the threads that I've just read.

Same here. Glithces seem to be the norm on WP. The site's in a constant state of upgrade and there's always a new problem (or six).

What an interesting but probably bad idea to consider doing 'that'!
