Two condoms walk past a bar.
One says to the other: "Fancy getting shitfaced?"

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

There's an old saying, and it goes something like this, if you die you won't be unhappy anymore (you won't be happy either, but hey, nothing is free, which is also another old saying).

I just read this news.

Tavistock Centre, a psychiatric study of London (England) has asked Blizzard to give the psychiatrists free accounts to play WoW in order to reach addicted players and help them end the addiction.

I've never played WoW and there are chances I may be addicted to videogames but this really sounds wrong to me.

Dott. Richard Graham, of the centre, said, among other things: "Pepople affected by this addiction usually show no exterior sign of antisocial behavior, they just spend the day in their rooms without the shadow of a problem". Sorry, but isn't this hilarious ? Do they want to create the problem ? Are they just envious ? Do they just want to play WoW for free ? If they are so interested in bugging other people can't they at least pay for their accounts ? I guess money is not a big problem considering how much they gain. Sorry but this whole thing is totally crazy to me. Who gives them the right to enter in another person life without being asked ?

He also said: "I'm particularly worried for those who play also 10 hours per day". 1) why don't you mind your own business ? 2 ) If a person is indipendent and wishes to spend his free time playing WoW what's the problem ?

^ Isolation is considered unhealthy. I don't understand why.

There's clearly a contradiction in general culture about this issue. Everyone says isolation is no good, loners are bad people etc, but then, at least here in Italy , you get tons of ads saying things like "in a peaceful place, away from everyone, where only you exist". So ? Are they just blaming something they can't have because they're so stuck in their thick social networks ?
