^ an interesting point. We have stuff like that here that talk about getting away from it all and etc. I believe the difference is that such things are intended to be a temporary reprieve whereas living in isolation is considered unhealthy?

An interesting double standard.

^ It's more than just that, though. It's considered a severe form of punishment (solitary confinement) and makes people go insane. Perhaps I should start a thread about this...
