You can actually mix kool-aid with vodka without it tasting terrible?

Yeah. At least if you like the kool-aid and like vodka.

Kool-aid without vodka. :(

Kool-aid with vodka, as God intended.

'Peeling Good' Chocolate and Orange Stout

Available at Aldi, brewed by 'The Hop Factory' which is presumably their own brand.

I'm very suspicious of the 'craft beer' movement, which in recent years has come up with dozens of new, often exotic sounding beer brands, selling at stupidly high prices to people who probably want to be seen as hip or cool. Aldi has recently joined the trend, with products like this, but I have to say that it's actually pretty good - very tasty and distinctive.

At £1.59 for a 440 ml can, it's not a bargain, and probably should be around 25% cheaper, but full marks to Aldi for showing a sense of adventure and injecting a bit of innovation into their range of beers, which up to now has been pitifully spartan and unimaginative.

Not "right now", but before this cup, I tried some Teavana brand spiced apple cider flavored herbal tea...

...not a fan.

More like "spiced bark and twigs".

It's a better potpourri than it is a tea, it actually smells pretty nice...in a arts'n'crafts gift shop sort of way.

Christmas Porter

Seems to be some kind of limited edition beer available at Sainsbury's supermarkets.

'Dark Fruit, Sweet Plum & Chocolate' it says on the bottle. I wasn't really expecting it to taste like Christmas Pudding, but that's exactly what it does taste of.
