My sympathies. :( Same here, that was my "thing that made me unhappy" yesterday. I like to socialize usually because I know firsthand how hard isolation can be. But this was definitely not one of my more NT weekends as far as sensory stuff goes. I actually felt fairly overstimulated in a place where I'm normally fine.

Still have never had a sensory meltdown, but for me yesterday, the room I was in transformed into a bunch of individual sources of noise that I couldn't tune out, instead of one big white noise which doesn't bother me. And all were really distracting, I couldn't pick anyone thing that I could focus my attention on. It was unpleasant and agitating, but not overwhelming. I just did the best I could with it until I could go somewhere else.

I've had a bit of a WP meltdown last night that spilled a little into this morning. I've learned from it that we must all be careful what we say about other members, or else it could come back to haunt us. I've found that I've put somebody off in Early 2007 when I made a thread that I wish I didn't make now. I really don't need to go into the details. I'm sure that many people have seen my response. I'm not like that 95% of the time. I thought it would be a good idea to look back at my old posts and it wasn't.

I caught my girlfriend's cold. She started it last Tuesday; it gradually got worse & she had a fever for a few days. She's starting to feel a little better but it's taking it's time. I probably started getting the symptoms a couple days ago but I dismissed them as sinus because I've be having sinus problems & all the things I was noticing were things that could of been sinus; I wouldn't of considered cold if she wouldn't of been sick. I had chills shortly after I got up today & a fever. I laid down under a blanket for a while & had a cold compress on my head till it quit being cold. My body felt hot then. I may still have a fever but it's not as bad as before. I'll probably use the compress again latter sometime after I eat lunch which will be soon. My girlfriend had a doctor appointment lined up for Thursday before she got sick so she'll mention it to the doc & maybe the doc can give a prescription or recommend something if me or her are still doing bad.

We had an unexpected death in my 'work family' today. I'm still in shock.
