I've been there, it might be worth looking at but not so relaxing on the steep descent. It is in Lichtenstein which is somewhere in Northern Bavaria. I Was about 10 at the time, used to do a lot of travelling in my childhood.
Austria is a very beautiful place, so is Switzerland and I was very blessed to have visited there four times.
The castle is indeed very grand and better when you reach the top and can breathe out at the summit.
I remember some paragliding taking place and although I was that high, I also couldn't wait for the descent back down.

I had one of those snap disposable cameras.
