drinking too much water can kill you
The water intoxication limit is 128 ounces in an hour....I drank 70 in 30 minutes....I am far off. I actually drank that much once and guess, what, I'm here to see the next day, hooray. Though I do feel a bit dizzy and stuffed and etc....
I know my limits. My body has been through too much for me to not know my limits.Very trained athlete: dies climbing mountain.
Dale Earhardt, experienced driver: dies in crash.
High school football players: suffer heat strokes.
John Bonham: "o i kno my limits biatches"
*drinks himself to death*
Could go onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
and
onnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
I see, but I have read a lot about it too, and drinking water isn't that bad.....lets see, hmmm
The mountain thing isn't comparable to drinking water.
Driving has many outside factors.
I've had head exhaustion before, I had a seizure in 2nd grade because of it. But, now I know the warning signs and what to do. If I start seeing stars, and it goes dark...it is bad, but if I hear the ringing in my ears...I immediately fix the situation.
But that quote made me laugh and think. It's not just about knowing your limits...but also following correct advice and being informed
and prepared.
I'm guessing the climber wasn't prepared, the driver ignored advice, and the football player wasn't informed.
*I could be wrong*
But I have read up, and 128 ounces in one hour is the limit (informed), I ate salt when I started loosing electrolytes(following advice), and I knew what to do if I started feeling like I needed to pass out (prepared).
OWNED!
