There's a girl out there who I met for the first time almost 2 years ago. I have deep feelings for her, but, just a few months ago, found out that she already has a boyfriend, who she's been with for about 5-6 years now, long before I ever met her. It seems like I've never been lucky when it comes to love and, yet, I can't stop my feelings for her. Love, to me, isn't like a switch that you can just flip on and off. I learned a while back from a TV Show that the whole idea of "soulmates" originated from the philosopher, Plato. He believed that when humans were first created that they were equal parts male and female, containing 4 arms, 4 legs, and 2 heads. He also believed that, when Zeus looked down upon humans, he became afraid that they were too powerful together and would attempt to overthrow the gods, so he split them into male and female beings. Therefore, the whole concept of "soulmates" is centered around trying to find that one person who is your other half. Will I ever find the right girl? My soulmate?

^Have you heard the story that two human hearts put together make the heart symbol [ ] and everyone is looking for their 'other half'? I have a bit of advice for you. Write a list of all the positive aspects you want in a partner, but write it in the present tense. [Don't include anything negative.] Then, put your list in a special place and visualize sending the request off into the universe. I hope that helps! [It certainly worked for me! :D ]

It took HFA Schultz to help me to see beyond Dr. Phil and The Monkees. I've found a show that I like more than The Monkees - Hogan's Heroes. The Monkees are a close second. Dr. Phil and Steve Wilkos are no longer on my TV list. I also don't watch cyst draining or jigger removal videos anymore.

I didn't know The Tokens are British. Edit

Oh, Vanity Fair is the British band that recorded 'I Hear Trumpets Blow'.

Sleep is just a cousin of death.

I'm not afraid to sleep.
Death is the same as sleep.
It's a sleep without waking.
Just the same as there is a waking without sleep.
I have come to terms with death and dying.

Hate thinking about secondary school... it was such a horrible experience...

Kinda my own fault for posting about it in a thread though...

i know it sounds silly and embarrassing to talk about such a thing but for real, summer is my nightmare only because of geckos. i wish i can talk with one of those who think geckos are cute, so they brainwash me and i start to believe they are cute.
