Bugler's Dream, the old Olympic anthem, first played on TV in 1960.

A truly awesome song by Tom Smith called "Operation: Desert Storm". It's about how the Coyote cant catch that Roadrunner http://thefump.com/fump.php?id=1310

From magnetic birdseed to dynamite darts,
I could buy General Mills with what I spend on parts,
But I'll get that Road Runner if it's the last thing I do.
:P

oooh, love the schindler's list theme. :D

Jackdaw- David Gray

I'm like a jackdaw
Cawing at your back door
Scratching at your windowpane
Hey throw your window wide
And taste the April night with me again
Girl we been veering
Backwards disappearing
Down into the murky deep
Baby come on
We'll be a long time gone
That's time enough for sleep

And hey now don't run and hide
Your little heart away
If it's gone
We'll sure never find it
Pining for lost innocence

Our hammers beating hard
Against that old facarde
Some other air to breathe
That we might break these moulds
And free our restless souls
Start to believe
That we can rise above
Our pettiness and love
Like we ain't loved before
Free on this earth
As the surf that rolls
And crashes on the shore

And hey now don't run and hide
Your little heart away
If it's gone
We'll sure never find it
Pining for lost innocence

Tantalisingly I saw
Our shadows moving through the door
Traces from a different time
When I was yours and you were truly mine
All mine

And I still want you yeah
I still want you yeah
I still want you yeah
I still want you yeah
And I still want you yeah
I still want you yeah
I still want you yeah
I still want you

And baby don't run and hide
Your little heart away
If it's gone
We'll sure never find it
Pining for lost innocence
Pining for lost innocence
Pining for lost innocence

Silent Lucidity - Queensryche

It set the record for me for repeated listening when it first came out. I used to commute for 3 hrs. daily to work and back (total per day). I used to play it over and over all the way to and from work for almost 3 weeks. Play/repeat/play/repeat...I just loved the song. I still do. I commuted alone - I would have driven a partner crazy. In general, I love music with orchestral back grounds. That is why I loved the Moody Blues so much too. They and Pink Floyd are my two favorite groups.

"It's all in the Surface" by Rhythm Rhyme Results

It sounds like what would happen if Justin Timberlake became your substitute Maths teacher.

This song is a million times better and more thought provoking than most of the rubbish that's on the radio.

I could see myself dancing at a wedding to this song. It's that good.

Given that I don't always like Maths or weddings or Justin Timberlake, it's pretty good.

Why can't all songs on the radio be this informative and boppable?

This is better than Justin Timberlake's music.
