A Daily Double for ya:

"Word Up!" by Cameo.

-and-

This one's a little bit more romantic in tone, this is from a Seattle band I love, Heart and "These Dreams".

The Wilson sisters (Heart) - I never hear them on the radio anymore! And Britte - Joni Mitchell was...is...and always will be amazing.

A couple that are conspicuously missing:

A few of my favourite songs from the 80s:

Something from 80ties Germany: Paso Doble, Herz an Herz, a love duet
It's linked to the music style Neue Deutsche Welle, or NDW, or New German Wave, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neue_Deutsche_Welle

Harold Budd and Brian Eno - The Pearl (I've actually posted the entire album. I hope that's ok.)
This is an album that strongly reflects it's genre, and I began to listen to it in the mid '80's. Both artists have remained on my list of all-time favorites, ever since...

On a side note. I have truly enjoyed participating in this thread. It quickly became one of my favorite go-to threads, on WP, after it's inception. Thanks for initiating this 'topic', Edenthiel.

Here's another PNW (Pacific Northwest USA) act; Nu Shooz and "I Can't Wait".

Another 1987 classic, Richard Marx's "Should've Known Better".

Ha ha, yes, luscious 80s music! :D

Here is a video of Paula Abdul. She also can dance very well, and I don't mean gymnastic/who-is-the-best/competition dancing but real dancing. 8)
