The term "Scapegoat" came from the Old Testament times. Two goats without blemish were found. The one was killed and the blood was placed onto the other. The blood represented the cleansing of sins and the goat was sent into the wilderness as the goat represented the peoples sin. It was very unlucky to have ones goat come back as the purpose of taking the living goat into the wilderness, and sending it out far away from where they lived was to send ones sins as far away from the people as possible.

One time quite a few years ago, a member started a thread with the title, "Don't look at this thread, Cockney Rebel!" I clicked the thread and scrolled down just to see a Routemaster who's upper deck was torn off by a low-laying overpass. I did my best to take it in stride.

^ That's too bad :| . It seems there are far too many places with major political troubles. Would be nice to get away from it all.

Danger, politics:

They're doing a lot of damage and my main concern is, the opposition, when finally in power, will be unlikely to repair it, just spin it to their own advantage :/

Only that the sky occasionally being in a good mood and putting on a pretty lightshow in the middle of Winter should be pretty low on your list of priorities when deciding where to live.
