You're not going to start with the Siberian horses**t to invalid indigenous peoples and our identities, are you?
That's what your use of 'so-called' is strongly implying.

The human species evolved in Africa and spread from there. Nobody is really native to the Americas. And yes the landbridge isn't horses**t.

No one claims the landbridge didn't exist, but if you're trying to downplay that you're living on our land you're just uninformed.

Where did I say anything about wanting violence, settler?

Well you seem to be saying that the house and property I bought belongs to you. Do I read this right?

No, you don't read that right. What I'm saying is that Canada and the US are on borrowed land and stolen land and that at some point reconciliation will need to occur.

And how do you steal something that was mostly unclaimed? What exactly do you mean by reconciliation?

What the hell do you mean unclaimed? Do you think we didn't live on it or did we not adequately stick a flag in it?

Reconciliation refers to resetting the state level relationship between indigenous people and the settlers living on our lands.

We live here and make it what it is.
It's OUR land. We had as much right to do that as anyone. Resetting the relationship? We aren't settlers anymore and haven't been for a long time.

So when does something stolen become legitimately owned? :chin:

Defending the indefensible will never make it defensible.

Well, it would start with actually honouring treaties (and pressuring governments to do so), not perpetuating harmful stereotypes and intentional disinformation about our history, no longer attempting to erase our history, recognizing how colonization and attempts at forced assimilation and cultural genocide have harmed indigenous peoples, recognizing our attachment to our lands and not dismissing our cultures as backwards or undeserving of respect.

Your family has been squatters for generations axeman.
No ones asking you to hand over the land, just acknowledge that your ancestors stole it.
The pilgrims were starving their whites asses off til the locals helped them.

Mabye you need some diversity and sensitivity training. My ancestors didn't come on the Mayflower btw. They came over from Ireland in the 1840s to a US that didn't want them and saw them as a threat to their jobs and security. They faced discrimination and etc.
