Ha ha! That's awesome! :lmao:

Not as awesome as the real one I hope to be getting when I'm 18! :D

So, can you find one over there with the steering wheel on the right side? How much are used ones going for? I assume you'll do some work on it yourself. (Like replacing the flex-capacitor).

Right hand drive DeLoreans are quite rare and are worth more money but I can buy a left hand drive one here and I'm allowed to drive it.

They cost around £15,000 but that's probably gone down now considering the current market.

Yeah I'll be doing work on it myself :)

Sweet! There's a company in Southern California that specializes in DeLoreans. I think they even retrofit them for biofuel - or something weird like that.

Better start stockpiling the steel wool! 8)

Cool! The main place is DeLorean Motor Company Houston which actually manufactures them from orginal parts from the factory after it closed down!

There's also kits you can buy to convert DeLoreans to run off of electricity, so don't think that classic cars will disappear when petrol gets killed off! It will take a bit of the fun out of owning a classic car, but it'd certainly be a lot more cheaper to run, though!

Totally! Great point! Now would be good time to buy up classic cars. I'd like a '66 Mustang and a '72 VW camper to kick off my fleet.

Probably not, it decreases the value and they look a lot better original.

Sweet! My first grown up car was an Accord. I think I was about 28. Until then, I drove POS's (when they ran), or rode public transportation (which in most parts of CA is a HUGE social stigma  ), or rode my bike - which was cool for short distances.

My Accord felt like my first real boyfriend. Well, my first real boyfriend that I thought I was in love with. I loved her! Drove her until she died - I think she had about 150K on it. Probably only put $1,000 into it.

If that car could talk. I ended up donating her to charity - but they had to come tow her. Blown head gasket, I think. I hope they didn't strip it and crush it. I like to think every car I see now (usually driven by a minority - yikes! Going straightto hell!) - champagne 89 - was my Bessie.

Yes - I know Bessie is a boring name - and I've called every car since then, "Bessie".

There must be a story behind Vector Prime Bosley. Must tell. We almost named our Jack Russell, "Vector". We ended up with Maggie Jack.

Is your civic a boy or a girl?

Saab 9-3 convertible. I *heart* my car. It's beautiful aesthetically, and it's fast! ;)

ETA: Oh, yeah, and taking the top down for the commute to work means I don't need to blow dry my hair before leaving home, so I get an extra 5 or 10 minutes in bed every day!

Vector Prime is my first car :D he's a boy. He's got over 170k on him but he's still runnin' I've already put more than $1,000 in him, though.

I love my car he's a good little car. He has no AC, rumbles a lot, needs some new tires, shuts off when I turn the key too fast when starting him up, and has a squeeky timing belt. But I love him 8)
I don't drive far to work so I am not worried about him breaking down on me. I'm gonna keep driving him as long as he gets me where I'm going.

As for the name... Vector Prime is a really old and wise Transformer who has some teal highlights but mostly I just thought it was a really cool name. And Bosley just because it's fun 8)

Bessie is a good name too
