I don't bother with alcohol; I figure if I'm gonna do something fun, I want to know what the hell I'm doing when I'm doing it, and a lot of times with alcohol you won't remember dick.

Plus, alcohol seems more like a "social" drink.

It's also worth noting that I told my friend I refuse to touch alcohol, and having a drinking problem himself, he told me not to waste my time with it.

I don't see why people drink something that screws with their head and has the ability to cause caner, especially when it's these same people who complain about the sugar in Coca-Cola, which a lot better than alcohol.

I don't drink and don't ever plan to, and I think alcoholic drinks should be illegal. In fact, they would be if the government wasen't making so much tax money off of them.

I don't drink due to taking medications and all though, before I was placed on meds several years ago would have a glass of wine with my dinner but, that was the extent of my drinking overall...

I'm underage, but I've had a few sips of different things over the years. I doubt I'd really ever drink, other than a glass of wine a year perhaps. Alcohol does not appeal to me at all - most of it tastes terrible. Besides, I doubt I could drink while on meds.

I definitely don't think they should be illegal; that's just an emotional reaction to a disapproval of something.

If people want to use alcohol for escapism, that's their problem. Just remember...if alcohol is gone, they'll use something else. Ya just want to keep making everything illegal in the hopes that folks will finally just confront their problems head-on?

I know it's true that if alcohol is illegal people will still manage to smuggle it and whatever, but it will drive the whole thing underground and make it a LOT less mainstream, and therefore reduce the damage it does.

I don't drink and never have. I've had a few friends who feel that this is holding me back socially, I'm not so convinced.

When I have it, I drink it (it's a luxury item for me). Premixed Bundaberg Rum and cola is my drink.

I'm not old enough to drink yet. I still have two more years before I can do it in the United States. After all, I'm just 19!

I don't really drink. I'll have the occasional pint of real ale or a measure of whisky but that's about it.
