Hate groups, religious zealots, politicians, emos (some are OK, but most of them annoy me to no end), "elder goths" and "baby bats," people who can't dress cybergoth (look like ravers with too much bright colors, when the dominant theme is supposed to be black - the colors are to be reserved for accents/trim), pedophiles, the whole AB/DL thing (seriously, something must be malfunctioning in their mental machinery for that to be pleasurable), scene kids (just belong to an actual scene and stop pretending), preps/jocks (fake personalities bent on conformity-boring), the plushie/furry fandom (people who act out usually sexual urges in animal costumes), zoophiles, pseudo-intellectuals (just because you graduated from Yale or Harvard, doesn't make you intellectually superior to everyone else; it just makes you richer than most people), people who think their spoiled a**hole sprogling is a precious little snowflake, and humans in general.

ha, this is something I have never admitted to anyone.

Needless to say I don't like extremists of any stripe but in terms of ability to get on my nerves, PUNK FANS. I have only noticed this in the last ten or so years. Before this it was just music anyone could like. Now, all of a sudden, punk groupies are the most pretentious people on the face of the earth. I never put it that way before but a while ago I realized if someone's fans are hineyholes then I won't to listen to their music. I am missing huge chunks of the punk canon because of this. I won't listen to Patti Smith, Iggy Pop, The Clash, Lydia Lunch, and a few others because their fans are such consistent jerks. I used to love the Clash and I have heard great things about Patti Smith and the others but they are such bunghole magnets. This is coming from someone who was always awkward and never fit in anywhere. And for whatever reason the hippest, coolest, most jerkazoid people who always gave me a hard time love this music and act like they own these artists personally. It's so weird.

Where do you live? I'm British and I go to see punk bands play live over here (a lot of the first wave are still going) and the fans are okay (if mostly over 40 at least). I guess most of the 'cool' punks live stateside (along with most of the 'cool' punk artists).

Mind you...

...The Clash suck
*runs*

I don't 'get' BDSM (as a scene more than a practice) ...sorry to many people on WP for this. It's not that I can't stand it, it's just that...ugh I dunno.

I'm not exactly the most sexually normal person myself, but I just couldn't ever take part in that scene.

Oh, and food Nazis (thanks marshall for reminding me). Pass me my kebab!

I'm an auto-zoophile but you'd never know. Nobody knows. You came pretty close to bashing me there. Just saying.

Anything misogynistic (female bashing) it seems like some guys like to hang out and bash women verbally. There isn't just one type who does that, and that's the defining trait: Misogyny.

Bullies (they also can stick in packs, so it could be a subculture; and they seem to draw each other out once one posts somewhere. And it seems to be okay or trendy in some places, to do that, online or in 'life.')

One percenters, only if they hate the other 99 percent or are trying to make their lives worse. I don't hate wealth in itself.

People who picket funerals

People who bash people based on sexual orientation or religious belief

And lastly, satanists scare me...can't help it.

Fanatics of politics, religion, sexuality, sports, or any combination thereof - these people seem to believe that expressing their fanaticism is the be-all and do-all of human existence, and that you are some form of sub-human if you don't express the same fanaticism to the same degree.

Losers, especially those who seem to believe that they are entitled to a share of the wealth that more prosperous people have earned for themselves.

Poseurs - People who pretend to be something that they are not, or who seem to believe that their own opinions on any given subject are more significant than the opinions of appropriately educated and experienced professionals.

Racists, sexists, conservatives, rednecks, people who are proud of being illiterate/stupid, religious zealots, "clubber" types, extreme anarchists, burnouts, ravers (past experience being one - hated it).

My diagnoses - social anxiety disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

I’m no longer involved with the ASD world.

I'm surprised no-one mentioned HIPSTERS yet in this thread?
