what made me happy today was my attitude to what i saw (more than my impression of what i saw in a sterile sense).
i can like things and that makes me happy.

Today I ate lunch at my favorite place and then tried a dessert place I have never been to before. Ordered the pistachio mousse in an edible chocolate cup, yummm. 8)

When I got to my brother's place, his youngest made me laugh when she said "Auntie, my foot is stuck to my bum bum!"

Finally finished and submitted a video for a contest. Actually it was my neighbor's video. I was just doing the tech work on it. At least now it is done and I can move on with my life.

I made my first apple-pie-from-scratch and it turned out pretty well. Put brandy & vanilla in with the filling, but couldn't taste them after it was baked. Have to figure out another way to get that flavor in there without making the bottom crust soggy.

Cooking seems to be my one and only right-brain skill.

That's awesome! I loved it, too. :D

What made me happy today is that I'd been wanting to sneeze all day (because of reasons) and I finally sneezed a couple hours ago.

i taught myself to do stripes a different way based on a stripe pattern i already knew how to do. i also met up with somebody today who i know from youth group/uni/SAlt. i do not know if i can call them friend or if i should be wary of doing so. knowing me i think i should be wary. we had fun and played in childrens playgrounds and walked all over redfern.

i have made 2 new friends in the last 2 weeks. now they are good friends of mine. they are 2 australian magpies and the male magpie is such a bold and brave little fellow. he trusts me completely, and in my mind, complete trust in me by an animal is the most important thing i can ever achieve. it makes me know that i am essentially a good being.

My husband texting me at 4AM to let me know he's okay after I couldn't get ahold of him last night and was up until 2AM waiting for him to get ahold of me. Such sweet relief.
