On another forum, I was in this game where we had to count to 150 and people had the oppitunity to "reset" the number back to 0. May people do this, but today, we managed to get to 150. I helped!

i ended up seeing Safety not guaranteed. it was a little bit sci-fi, a little bit romance. i thought it was alright. the ending was cool. but oh man does cloud atlas sound wicked cool!! ! i totally wanna see that before i leave the country!

and today what made me happy was that i got up, went and did a stall for the queer rights group i'm in at newtown festival with 2 comrades and a third campaign group person. everyone was receptive, one guy asked my name and then put out his hand as if to shake mine but then he kissed it much to the amusement of the 3 men i was working with, and a fascist(in the literal sense or so my comrade reckons) threatened us with violence and hung around us.

i also met up with somebody i guess i can call a friend and we hung out for a long time. she is hot. she likes going to bookshops and stuff. we went to one bookshop and the swampy bookshop keeper there had left politics on the surface but a terrible view on the agency of the working class. she didnt think protests could change anything! how ahistorical. like she was really into the environment so maybe i shoulda mentioned the franklin river dam protests. three words that woulda won that argument. my friend put her in her place. we saw a film together. we both have issues deciding things so we let a coin decide. much like two-face from batman. but less evil.

my comrade also says that 2 lebanese comrades from melbourne are moving here and i should talk to them and they might have some reading recomendations for me. and they're druze which is interesting because my family is really sectarian(especially mum) and hate druze and druze are a minority and yeah.

and there were free badges at the centre. i got a "howard hater" and "stop uranium mining" badge.
