I have a lot of mood swings throughout my days. This picture was taken around the October of 1966. Like the real Mick Avory, I'm a very sensitive and caring person and I actually like that. I don't want the world to harden me and turn me into an emotional cripple. I hope that I still have that same mindset when I'm very elderly. Sticking to my guns, it's better to be sensitive than it is to be a jerk. There are people who think the opposite, and I wish that they would keep their opinions to themselves this time. I grew up to be like sweet, sensitive Mick. Deal with it.

This is how I've been feeling the past few days and it's my favourite picture of Mick. This is how I look all the time, really. It just seems more noticeable when I'm anxious and depressed about something.
