I went to bed really late last night & couldn't fall asleep till after my girlfriend had to get up for her counseling appointment. I had her wake me up earlier than I've been getting up lately cuz I had to call my parents & wanted to eat breakfast before I did so I'd be more awake. I didn't take a nap today & haven't felt that tired for some reason; maybe cuz of all the sleep I got yesterday & the night before. I don't think I can sleep too late tomorrow cuz we're supposed to go to the laundromat again. I shouldn't stay up much later tonight. Maybe I'll start getting on a better sleep schedule now.

I actually got out of bed less than an hour after the time Cass told me to set my alarm for & wake her up. She wasn't going to wake me because it was raining & she was leaning towards not doing laundry. She went back to bed a while after I was up & told me to wake her after I was done with my breakfast. I woke her after & she decided not to do laundry cuz she wasn't feeling the best & didn't want to deal with the rain. She asked me to join her in bed which I did alittle while after I woke her & took care of a couple things. I held her & fell asleep for a few hours; i sleep alot better when I'm holding Cass but I cant do it a whole lot cuz she has pain issues due to fibromyalgia. We're supposed to do laundry tomorrow cuz it wasn't supposed to rain tomorrow but the weather report changed after we deiced to do it then & it is supposed to rain tomorrow now. At least tomorrow won't be as cold so we may still go do laundry. I'm not sure when I'll go to bed tonight cuz of that nap but at least I was making some progress with changing my sleep schedule the last couple days & it's not my fault if I go to bed late tonight cuz I hadn't planned to take a nap but Cass did & wanted me to join her.

Alarm at 5am, splitting headache due to running myself down in recent days (10 days onto new job). Took ibuprofen/codeine.

Shower etc and commute

Call with a database vendor in the US, then a dude in enterprise systems who controls some resources i need (yay interpersonal blather).

Got a bunch of coding done (yay, for real)

Coworkers went out for lunch, I made myself join them until we got downstairs and i realised they wanted to spend more time/money on lunch than i did. So i begged off and went and bought dumplings then ate them at my desk (more coding, yay).

Email my boss about the day's achievements, go home at 3:30, pick up a new id card at costco.

Home by 5:30, play a few rounds of rocket league, deal with various stuff.

It's most 11pm, wanting to watch an episode of some tv show but really oughta just get to sleep, pretty sure I need it.

I just finished reading "Mathilda" out loud. I didn't read the whole book at once, though. That could have put quite a strain on my vocal cords. :)

I actually was up before Cass but that was because I was feeling too hot to sleep upstairs anymore with just a fan blowing. It's weird that the temp is so warm upstairs today when it's supposed to be icy & snowy tomorrow(well later today now) & it still feels warm up there but it gets cold downstairs if the heater is set too low. We did laundry today & it was raining some on the way there & back but not heavy thankfully. I also just finished washing dishes.

Had a meeting with the present Area Director of my Toastmasters Area to discuss running for the position in the coming Toastmasters year beginning July 1. Two other people are in the running, and have much more travel experience, but I would be excited if I got the position.

I visited a dermatologist today to determine what is causing my lips to have been swelling.

I do not have a skin condition, but my dermatologist told me it is inflammation caused by an allergic reaction.
