None of my words ever feel adequate.

All the ex-husbands/boyfriends [and wives/girlfriends] are probably just on the night prowl again. Got to look good/present well to win people over.

Out of all the impulse control disorders to have, why couldn't I have Pyromania instead of silly old Trichotillomania??

I am a fan of blueberries.

On Facebook, I am a fan of:
Oxygen
Yelling at inanimate objects
Not getting eaten by sharks
(In real life, I'm also quite fond of the above 3 things. I don't yell much at inanimate objects, though. I'm more of a throwing-things-across-the-room person. But I strongly support the practise of yelling at inanimate objects. As long as it's not within earshot of me, because yelling hurts my ears.)

I'm a bit confused as to why my ex-husband is suddenly taking showers, buying new clothes, losing weight and exercising when he would never do any of those things when he was with me??

It's a typical ex syndrome. Mine is doing the same. They thought what they were doing was good enough for you. When they realize it's not, they put in more effort. Go figure.

Ironic :?

I've considered that he's either dating again or looking for someone else. Which is fine. I just don't understand why he never would do such things for me even if I asked. I guess the problem is that he knew he didn't need to in order to get or keep me. No such thing as going above and beyond to be a good partner, I suppose. *sigh*

On an entirely separate note: Did I miss the memo where they told us 9-11 is something to celebrate?? There were a bunch of parties and people setting of fireworks last night!
8O :?: :|

The day before yesterday was my birthday.
I had one single candle on the strawberry cake and it was fine like that.
We finished the cake today.

At a time, my mother used to bet on horses every week.
She read thoroughly the newspaper special page and then bet.
Sometimes, she won some gains.
That was her personal break of the week, she was quiet and peaceful doing it.
