the last few days(if bad stuff is dis-included) were alright. i hung out at the queer centre here, watched a movie with the guys there, went to their meeting on queer emigration and immigration, talked to people who do not make me angry, met new people(ok they made me nervous. some made rape jokes.) who i mostly liked, including a random straight dude who came with his friend to the centre who showed me dunkin donuts in hamra (favourite beirut suburb. reminds me of home in redfern or newtown.) which is like donut king in australia and a queer hangout here and then i had dinner with him alone which led to me being asked how my sleep was last night, how warm my bed was, if i cuddled anybody the night before, etc and if i like liked the guy but yeah  . we could relate on a personal and political level. he's a leftie and i swear he has so many asper traits it's not funny. i went to the american uni of beirut and checked out their library and their friendly cats which climbed all over me. and people took care of me when things went wrong, a volunteer told me about a comedy thing at a queer friendly bar which we went to on friday and it was fun. oh and i do not have to take my meds anymore(or for now anyway) because the month is over. i finished 60 lamivir, 120 zidovir, 10 tavanic and 30 effavir pills in 30 days. this means i can drink now and not worry about mixing drugs. unfortunately i do not drink but i had such cravings because i wasn't allowed for the month.

Exchanged some clothes I had gotten at Christmas which either a) I had duplicates of, b) Had the wrong textures, or c) I just plain didn't like. (I didn't list any of these clothes in the "What you got for Christmas" threads)

What I bought with the return money:

A My Little Pony group shirt
A Hetalia group shirt
A shirt with a diagram of a pig with all the parts labelled "bacon" on it (the irony of a fatty like myself wearing such a shirt is not lost on me; in fact, I think the reason I like it has more to do with self-deprecation than anything else)
Pikachu socks
Rainbow socks
