That sounds like a great idea for a thread Taupey! :) Our decorations won't be going up for a while yet though I don't think, sometimes it's just a few days before Christmas! :P

The Christmas tree was up at college today 8O

It is still too early for that! Give it at least another week...

Well, I digress. Christmas season here starts as soon as the month says "-ber." It can mean two things: the weather's becoming cooler, hence the chill and shiver; and the fact that Christmas is in December.

Hey Identity, thank you. :) I don't celebrate Christmas anymore now that my kids are adults. But I do put up a Winter Solstice tree instead. My mother bought me a white tree one year to use as my Winter Solstice tree.

:o That was fast. I was going to wait before I would start it, someone might do it before me, which is fine with me either way.

:) It's interesting to learn how people decorate and celebrate their holidays.

I knew a woman who kept her Christmas tree up year round in her living room. My three cats would not allow me to do that, 2 to 3 weeks is hard enough keeping them away from it. I'll have to take it into another room and shut the door while I'm out of the house or sleeping.

I'm back. I went grocery shopping with my friends, packed my groceries, took out some garbage and put some Shake n Bake chicken in the oven. I plan to be here for the rest of the day. :)
