I'm a little closer to where I want to be next year. I told one of the staff at Stepping Stones that like the real Mick Avory I eat when things go well and I don't have an appetite when things aren't going well. I likened myself to a real person instead of a 300 lb TV character.

I didn't sleep at all last night because I've gotten in the bad habit of going to bed late in the morning. My girlfriend had plans to spend the weekend at her parents & they were picking her up around 1 or 2. I could of slept for a couple hours before that but her sister was supposed to come for a short visit around 11 but she canceled & I didn't know till after I woke Cass up. By then I figured I'd just stay up till after they left. After they left I went to my bank, & to RiteAid to pick up a couple meds for Cass. I also had to put something in the mail box on the way there; we don't have a box for outgoing mail but there's a box for the general public to mail stuff around the corner & across the street. I didn't feel like going to bed rite after I got back. I think at this point I'll stay up till after i eat my official breakfast & then sleep for a few hours.

Got through my last day of work for the week, despite being tired, lightheaded, and in pain.

I've spent the day at home today and I didn't go crazy. I was earning my minimum keep at Swagbucks for the day.

I got my MRI done and handled the noise a lot better than I was afraid I might. Now I just have to wait for the results (I'm kind of hoping they do find something so I'll at least know what the issue is, and I feel like I can handle what it is that they're probably looking for).

Also completed another day of work.

It isn't much but I successfully made it through a sh***y day at work, and I think that's an achievement in itself for me :)

You must work the 3-10 AM shift or something....I live in NYC. It's almost 11 AM now. And I'm done with work at 11 PM.

Yep.....getting through the day is frequently accomplishment enough.

Managed to get myself into work and plough through a whole day of finance nonsense, in spite of feeling rubbish (although not for viral reasons) and having the overwhelming urge to call in sick.

No tall tales, no bad karma. That's good, I suppose. :)
