Probably not, unfortunately. I would like to, and can afford it. My parents, though, are extremely unkeen on the idea. They worry that I would socialise with no other person.
I confess that going without socialising doesn't sound too bad to me, but the idea is abhorrent to them.

I confess that they are most likely NT? I've lead a perfectly healthy life (age 34 years of age) with little socialization but when I do socialize, it's to the maximum benefit because I'm not burnt out from doing it 24/7. Maybe you could present it to them that way?

Actually, I must confess that my dad is probably mildly autistic (although I don't think he would believe me if I said that to him). He struggled through being unable to socialise and managed to learn, so he doesn't understand why I wouldn't do the same.
I confess I'm freaking out.
Unexpected visitors in app. 7 minutes. The kind that you haven't seen in ten years and now, because they happy to be in the neighbourhood, feel like dropping by.
We're already having someone else over, plus my sister/her boyfriend. Too much >_< I want to hide in my room, but will probably be forced to sit down with them.
