I've just been taking a few of those online quizzes. The last one was what names I like best. I think the results were pretty accurate - I like modern, popular names. I don't like names that are just too weird-sounding. Especially since the kid who gets it is stuck with it for life. One of the boy's names I could have picked was Rufus. Yeah, great name if you're a dog!

but i fail at helping them.

It's almost 5 AM. I should have gone to bed hours ago, especially since I usually do lunch with my mother on Monday, but I just can't do it.

Maybe we'll go out for supper. The days are longer now so she doesn't mind driving in the evenings as much. But I don't since I didn't call her, she never calls me, unless it's almost noon on Monday and I haven't called first.

^^I care so much that I always try to help people. I'm also a people-pleaser, and it's really become a problem.

I wish I wasn't so paranoid about any of my parents.

Today my mother said my dad's doctor's appointment was cancelled today because the doctor was sick.

I know doctors are human too, but I can't help but be amused at the irony.

Also today at Walmart I saw Barbie dolls dressed in different career uniforms, including airline pilots and firefighters.
The firefighter Barbie was so cute I was tempted to buy one, even though I can almost hear a million feminists screaming in my ear not to. Poor Barbie, it seems no matter how hard they try to make her a positive role model, she can't win.
