Throughout my life people have accused me of being cold and distant. I'm not really, its just that I have great difficulty expressing feelings and emotions either physically or verbally. People who have been close to me have ended up in a rage at me because I just can't seem to say the right thing. Sometimes, women in particular, ask a question but they are really asking something entirely different to the question - like I've got to read between the lines and interpret everything. If I just answer at face value then it usually hits the fan.

A woman I'd been dating for a while asked me if I loved her. I just replied truthfully as though she'd asked me a technical question such as what is 10 plus 10. So I replied "No. but I like you". I wasn't expecting the flood of tears and emotion that followed. I try to be very careful nowadays before answering question that involve emotions and consider if there is more to the question than it seems.

I do get quite emotional myself, its not that I'm a robot or like Spock off Star Trek as some used to call me. The problem is just with communicating emotions to others.

^ It's still better that you were truthful, because think of the mess you'd be in if you had said you loved her when you didn't :!:

The problem is, a lot of people ask questions for which they do not wish to hear the honest answer. :?

Also, when you meet the right person, she won't need to ask, because you will already have found a way to let her know :D

I'm afraid that if I cry I'll never stop and just completely break down.

That was really heroic of you, and she is probably grateful! :)

I've spent half an hour trying to reply to your reply but I can't find the right words to express myself and keep editing it all out again. Enough to say that I'm actually now in the pickle that you describe.

I live in Florida. I have a 3.90GPA in collage. I have had to clean my apartment out due to a sewage back-up, and I am afraid the owners will not repay me and evict me(I know this sounds strange, yet stranger things have happened). I bought some bargain CDs and they are good. I hope you are have a nice day, and May 27 is my birthday and I will be at work.

It has been a little over a year and a half since my last relationship ended.

I have been content since my last relationship ended, though I have been thinking recently if I would enjoy having a relationship again.

I had some hot apple pie yesterday and it was awesome.

I plan on planting a few more things today in the garden. I am late this year planting, but the weather here has been colder and dryer than normal.

I need a new shower curtain. The other one has a split in it now.
