I feel like winter is creeping up.... but I don't feel it now, I'm in Hawaii relaxing it up. I am much better now.

Like someone(s) said, it's November and it's starting to get cold (well, California "cold", that is).

My living quarters are a pigsty, but I can't bring myself to sort them out.

I booked an appointment with a local cleaning company and waited in all day for the cleaner to call.

When they hadn't shown up by seven pm, I emailed the company to find out what had happened.

They said that the cleaner had called at my address and I had sent her away, claiming I'd never made the appointment!

So now I am confused as to what might have happened AND I have to live in squalor for the next week.

My sisters' caterpillar died. We don't know why. Possibly because it's getting too cold.

The temperature gy below freezing and there was frost on the ground.

I seriously NEVER want to come back to Hawaii; my parents have ruined the trip for me.

Woke up tired for no reason.

My right ear has been plugged for two days, and it's quite annoying.

I have no coffee in the house today. I also don't drive.

At the beginning of our school day we talked about appropriate tones of voice, body language and eye contact. It was extremely confusing.

Encountering smoker after smoker at bus stops on the way to school.

It was hot today and when you get in the car it was like an oven.

Also I couldn't get the ginger beer I like Woolworths only had that horrible Kirks Metalic foam laughingly refered to as ginger beer.

I didn't have breakfast this morning.

i am sick of rescuing flies in my house that i feel sorry for. it is such a waste of energy.

there is usually a couple of bush flies (like house flies but less filthy) somewhere in my house, and at first, they fly around energetically.
they zig zag aimlessly about in the air seemingly in some sort of attempt to orient themselves, and i have no hope of capturing them to return them outside at that stage, so i ignore them.

after a few days, i see them crawling lazily on the window desperately searching for a crack to escape from, and i notice that their abdomens are almost empty. i can see the light from outside shining through their abdominal shell, and i can see the shadow of a shrivelled up ball about the size of a head of a match inside.

i then become sorry for them and i trap them in a glass (dedicated to that role) and slide a piece of cardboard over the mouth of the glass and take them outside.

the problem is that my front door needs 2 hands to open it so i have to put the glass down, and then i start to realize that it is becoming a serious chore.
today, i opened the front door before i caught the tired old fly, and as i let it go, i noticed about 4 flies fly in, and i almost hit the roof.

i can not spend my life dealing with flies.
