I confess.... it's dinnertime around here (18h24) and although I'm really hungry (I only had a banana, half a orange, a pita bread thingy with cheese and maybe hundred sunflower seeds all day) but I don't feel like cooking something.

*mmmm, what to do?*

^ I confess that if the world ever goes on a sunflower seed shortage, I will tell the media that you're hoarding them all. You and your sunflower seeds.

I confess that you should have dinner delivered tonight, or look for leftovers in the fridge.

There's only one solution to that...

TAKE OUT :D

Actually I don't even have the guts to call those people haha. So I just end up eating rice cakes. Which you shouldn't do.
Do you have potatoes? And an oven?
Preheat the oven to 230°C
Just scrub the potatoes a bit, then cut them into sticks (like erm.. Flemmish fries..haha that sounds dumb. Vlaamse frieten).
Season them with salt and pepper, or sea salt and chilli spices, toss with a tbs or two of oil and then put them in the oven (on an oiled baking tray).
Bake them for about 30-36 minutes (or when they've turned golden brown and a bit crispy). You could flip the fries halfway through baking to let them bake more even.

If you have anything like bell peppers or zucchini's lying around, you could cut those into slices and add them to your fries whilst baking, that way you get some veggies as well.

I confess I need to eat too:\
Had: fruit cup (like applesauce), 2 oat cakes, 1 veggie burger.

blargh.

Thank you ladies.... for the advice (while I was cooking   ) but I made my favourite again. Italian à la erminea. Thin macaroni with minced veal meat (.... um, sorry cow), butter beans, pomodori tomatoes with lots of juice, onion, fresh chervil, basil, parsley and chives. Salt and pepper and on the plate some Dutch cheese and fried onions on top of it.

Tada....

Image

But bugger.... I forgot the garlic. and also due to this urge to post something my plate half full is now.... cold. But, no worries here, I always make too much deliberately (for the day after) and I'll think I reheat half my plate and the rest in lets say an hour.

^ I confess that I know I freak you out every time I tell you I want to come to dinner. So we'll just pretend I didn't say it.
Looks delicious!

I confess.... you don't freak me out, CG.... and thank you. Half the plate I ate was delicious although no garlic.

Also confessing.... I gave 'my' birds in the garden some left over rice, cheese made small, some sesame seeds and yeah, sunflower seeds and I was filled with joy again to see the blackbird (turdus) again came very close to where I sat. He isn't scared at all for me and the same goes for the collared turtle dove. The last one almost wanted to sit on my head once. It's true and mind you they are totally wild animals. Feels good to be trusted by them.

I confess.... (although some of the more nasty traits I have) I sometimes feel such a lucky bastard. Gaea (~Mother Nature) knows (?) I love her deeply and nature treats me nicely in return.

(yeah, yeah, my perception and all but I like to see it this way)

I confess my TV's signal was shut-off for 5 minutes for a DTV test.
The anchor who explained the DTV test creeped me out, despite being
previously recorded, and the voice feed for the test creeped the F**k out of me!

It felt like a old-school drill from the 1950s.

My own TV set: Not Ready for the DTV transition on June 12th

Thank you, it was.... reheated it with some garlic in it this time.... um, way better. This dish can't be right without it.

About the hiring.... mmmm, tempting but there's a downside to this.... I'll make a total mess of your kitchen. *think Swedish cook/ chef of the Muppetshow*.... Jeez, he was hilarious.

(jeez, why didn't I think of the muppetshow for ages.... years and years totally forgot about them.... Hey BROADCASTERS, I promise, folks will watch.... 'cos some of it is absolutely brilliant)

Um, confess thread....

I confess.... today I went from - 4 to +10 on the mood scale and was a bit bouncy at times in between. But not bad in the end.

Yeah, three cheers for the muppetshow in general. I always liked the somewhat sarcastic oldies on the balcony also. But still the Swedish chef, I don't know.... do I relate a bit maybe?

Some of the younger folks may even not know the show.... Is that possible? Um, just type 'muppetshow' or 'muppetshow swedish chef' at YouTube and I promise you laugh your socks off. Um, or at least I do for I'm a s*cker for absurd and hilarious humour.
