i went to the doctor. it was the best experience i have had at the doctors ever. she was really nice. she kinda freaked me out a little when she suggested there was a slim chance i could be pregnant though because of the weird bleeding but i'm not. she also said if my hepatitis tests were negative i could get vaccines. i was relieved when she said it didn't matter if it was my period, she could still do the tests. only thing is that she made an appointment with a shrink because she thinks it would be good to talk things over. i have to decide if going would be a good idea. i don't think it is but at the same time i need to talk to somebody, i just don't think this somebody is the right sort.

I don't have to walk on eggshells on WP anymore.

I have a free day all to myself.

We were talking about Aspergers in health and no one was rude bout it or anything.

My first dental appointment in six years went well.

I found a check for $100 in the envelope from a Christmas card this morning (I'm married to a pack-rat so I have to curb my urge to throw things away) .

Now I have to call my cousin in California and let her know it didn't get lost in the mail.

I'm having today off (Friday).

my friends and i talked on fb and "skyb". actually i'm a little worried about one of them. he has issues with internalised homophobia a little. and he's been going to the doctor a lot for blood tests i assume but still... also i made bazeela wu riz(translates into peas and rice but that is not what it is. if you say it in arabic to an arab they will know what dish it is.) i am so proud. i made it by myself and it turned out ok. my comrade said it smelt good, the spices specifically which i thought was weird since it was pepper and cinnamon. then again it does smell nice even though it's simple. but yes. i'm proud.

I had some pleasant work today. I usually work in offices but occasionally do these leafleting rounds for a London council. (you know if there is going to be roadworks, changes to parking etc. and you get an info sheet through your front door? I deliver those.)

I wouldn't want to do that job every day but I get hired for one day a few times a year and I really enjoy it. Just me and my big bag of letters, lots of exercise and fresh air. Well, as fresh at it ever gets in Central London at least!

I usually do this job in the summer when it gets hot and sweaty but today was bitterly cold and I wrapped up very warmly and was comfy. It was snowing very gently which looked pretty, but strangely it didn't feel cold. I got the job done in half the time allocated but they still pay the number of hours booked, so I took a detour to do some window shopping and had a nice lunch in Chinatown.

And tonight I'm going for a drink with a good friend. She's going to support her mate who is doing a song on the karaoke, I'm not singing though!

today i saw a comrade i haven't seen in ages and he spoke in my language to me. his language skills have deteriorated but it's still nice hearing it. and i spoke to my friends overseas.

Finally renewed my drivers license (had to go in for picture and eye test), that was really, really, really hard. I put it off last month to avoid the DMV stress, then I was really, really sick for two weeks. I eventually had to force myself the day before it expired. It feels good to have that done with. I bet I look like death warmed up in the picture though.
