Although I grew up in the suburbs, many of the people who lived around me came from the country.

I sort of feel like I grew up in the country.

When I was a kid, people used to go to the shop in their galoshes because we lived in an old swampy area. They used to leave their back doors open to get back in the house.

These days, you've got to double barrel bolt your doors through fear someones going to break in. Pity. How times have changed! :(

Dunno. Haven't seen him in a while. I'll go check.

Haha!
He looks like an ornament.
I have one of those - a life-size ceramic Persian.

I sure am going to be sad when I have to move out of this house. It reminds me so much of the house I grew up in. The house we just recently had to hand back to the Housing Commission because Mum got dementia and couldn't live by herself anymore! :(

American.

Where will you go when you have to move out?
Maybe you can find something similar.

The house I'm in was originally housing commission.
There's three houses in a row exactly the same.
The one I'm in was my grandmother's house.

Rental prices are expensive here in Sydney. I've got a 3 bedroom house at the moment and I was lucky to get that at $300 a week because it's really dilapidated and an outside loo. But I had to take it because of Boo.

They liked the fact that I've actually gone to the trouble to fix the place up a bit and let me stay on.

I was only supposed to be here until last December but the owner gave me another 3 to 6 months.

They're going to tear the place down eventually :(

The real estate agents at the Professionals know my predicament with BooPoo and said they'd make sure I've got somewhere to go - in my money range - when the owner wants to pull this lovely house down. Joyce Gimbert and all!

That's his classic Tabby "M" marking.

He's getting so big. When he was a kitten, I couldn't even imagine he'd grow so big. I used to think about it and I thought he'd stay tiny for ever. Now, he's like a mini Godzilla! He's now like that kitty out of the Goodies.:
