My eyesight was never actually bad enough to need specialist equipment. I can use a computer normally, the main problem is that without my glasses the text is too blurred. With my glasses I look at the screen from an average distance. Probably when I had my iMac I sat too close to the screen. I shall be reunited with it in the fairly near future hopefully.

There are sight loss charities in most parts of the UK. Where I live I was involved with the local sight loss charity.
