There was a cute little kitty cat on the back veranda just then. :/ I turned the light on (thinking that the noise was the dog from across the road), and he walked off, I went outside and I heard him going West through the forest.

I don't know what he was afraid of, as I wasn't going to harm him (I'm all words when I speak of hunting feral animals), but I guess he didn't know that. Behaved like a house cat that's wandered.... Too boisterous to go to a home for a wild cat ("wild" as in, lived in the wild its whole life), plus it made too much noise walking through the brush compared to the wild ones I've seen.

My rehearsal tonight just got cancelled.

For once the last minute change does not irritate me, because I can go home and get sewing my Hallowe'en costume.

It's called Mansfield Park Theatrics. It's an entertainment (really a play) based on the theatrical entertainments staged by Jane Austen's family (and other middle class English families) in the early 19th century.

Cheese is good, especially if it's good cheese.

Yes, that's true. For instance, the Greek ones are well renowned and really good with slices of tomatoes and a dash of oil.

In psychology at college we're doing Baron-Cohen's autism/AS study. What an uncomfortable lesson that was! It was still interesting though, and we had a class discussion and one person said they knew someone who could remember train timetables. Anyway I contributed by telling them about this autistic man I knew once who after I told him my date of birth told me exactly what day I was born.
Anyway I felt weird the whole time and I was nervous because of the subject matter. At the end of the lesson the teacher asked me if I was alright with it all, my discomfort must have been showing :?
