I did climb it----but I did the relatively "easy" route. I felt lightheaded when I got to the summit. I just closed my eyes and slept for about half an hour.

Then it's 2. How would you not know if it was a deer or a moose? Hitting a moose would kill you.

Things I love (re: men),

1. Those white cashmere scarves that rich men wear with tuxedos in the winter
2. When guys put their arm around the back of the passenger seat, while reversing the car smoothly with one hand
3. Suspenders (1930s look)
4. Baseball caps in the summer for that youthful look

My wife was the one that hit the deer/moose.

My wife thought she had hit a moose---but the cop thought it was likely that she hit a deer.

It wrecked the whole front end of the car, and it wrecked the radiator. Yet, the car still ran. We drove 8 hours from Cochrane, Ontario to Ottawa, Ontario. Then we spent the night in a hotel. Then we drove another 8 hours from Ottawa to NYC, hoping that we wouldn't get stuck in a traffic jam. If we did get stuck, that would have been it for the car.

#2 for Isabella. She would probably find that maneuver unsafe.

When did you see Nicole Kidman?

1998 at a little venue called The Donmar Warehouse in London's West End. It was a two-person show called The Blue Room by David Hare, and the tickets were going for 800 pounds on the street (because it was the début, and rumor was that there were nude scenes in it). My friends and I got ours for 13 pounds because our professor was a BBC critic and acquired the tickets before Kidman was signed. We tried to scalp our tickets, but nobody went as high as 800 pounds, so we went to the show instead. Security was tight because the other rumor was that Salman Rushdie would be coming out of hiding to attend. He did. I sat just above him. It was a good show.

I'm thinking Isabella doesn't really go for the baseball caps.

That's really interesting. You've had some really cool experiences, especially while saving money :)

I guess I should have thought of that.....

You would like "On the Road," then. Dean Moriarity, the main character, did that maneuver. And he didn't wear a baseball cap.

Things that scared the bejeepers out of me when I was young (and still do...)

1. Poodles, especially when they're coloured and coiffed for dog shows

2. Identical twins, even if they aren't dressed alike or if they have different haircuts

3. Roller skates and skateboards (even the noise they made)

4. Motels which are only one or two storeys tall, with outdoor access to the rooms

 ...but, did he wear a cashmere tuxedo scarf and suspenders, in the winter?

Wow, that sounds dangerous. Glad no one was hurt. I hope the deer / moose recovered.
