.. When I compared two of my evaluations, I did worse on 2nd. And as for why I didn't (can't) remembered it, I was probably too angry or too anxious, perhaps too depressed to bother keeping such memories from that very year.

If one wonders how old I was during both diagnoses, first I was turning 10, then after turning 14. I'm sure was happier and had less of a social awareness when I was younger, which isn't the case after entering my teenage years.

So yes, perhaps that's how I come to a conclusion that anxiety holds aspies back.

My grandfather is moving back into this state apparently. Two weeks ago he suffered some kind of collapse related to blood pressure and broke some bones when he hit the ground. He might spend some time here. I'd have to watch over both him and my dad if that happened. My dad had a detached retina late last month. He can't drive for several more weeks or lift anything over 10 pounds. It's not terrible nor am I complaining. It'll be different, all three generations of men living in the same house at the same time with no one else present. I don't know him very well either nor does he really know me. It'll be interesting. He might spend more time in the Eastern half of the state though, all my aunts and uncles live over there.

People doubt my age all the time.

Me too. Only, they don't think, "How young he looks for his age! "

They're thinking, "God, he looks like he should be dead! "

My delusions are so much better than reality.

Who ever heard of a penile brake?

You need a certain level of immaturity to laugh at that joke.
Luckily, I have immaturity in droves

That's the last time I'm ever going into the clothing section in any department store. I've had my suspicions about those things for a while!

Seriously though, my daughter (when she was about 4 or 5) used to be sh!t scared of them and wouldn't go near them unless I was carrying her. I used to tap on the hand or head and say, "See?! Made of wood!" She eventually got brave enough to go up to them herself, knock on it's hand and she'd say to me, "See?! Made of wood!" - True story!

I am a 23 year old student, doing Visual and Communication Design. I chose to work on autism for my thesis. My 4 year old niece is autistic so that's where my interest developed in getting to know more about it. I want to understand the exceptional skill that every autistic individual is blessed with. I was hoping to get to know some amazing people on this forum. I'm sorry if anything that I said offended anyone.

Sorry.
