I just got back from having lunch with my daughter.

Are you alright Raleigh?

Yes.

Just the Apo paracetamol/codeine.
They take me on a nice little trip.

I never got that effect with the Panadeine Forte.

You're lucky. I practically need an elephant tranquilizer to give me any effect.

The one I carry with me is a little more sombre, but I guess that's the point of a medical one. I guess I could put "awesome" on the end of it with a marker. :)

"Person with autism. May not respond to commands. But is totally cool and awesome." :P

I did some differential heat treating of an old KA-BAR knife that had the finish worn away today (I cleaned off the rest).

Looks pretty good.

You cover the part of the blade you don't want heat treated with clay or similar, then you put it in fire until the uncovered area is red hot. Quench it. I did a nice wave pattern with the clay, so that's imprinted on the blade.

The edge appears pretty strong with the face hardening from the heat treatment.

That's a very good story. There should be more stories like this about coloured people.
