No waffles. Just zzzzzzz.
(Translation: random phrase/word. I haven't slept and I probably should but I don't feel like it.).

I just recorded my voice again, singing along with a good song.... and man, it was horrible to hear the replay of it. I have a very low monotone voice and.... well, maybe best, I don't pursue a singing career.

I was just about to change 'very low' into 'quite a low' voice in my last post. Clicked on 'Erminea' to open this thread and ping.. your post popped up.. (well, no use to change it now.... never mind)(plus no worries of course)

Um, uncomparable but I think you're right.. hope so. (this dude doesn't even know his lines.. what a.. ) Plus I'm glad I never watch those shows, not for me.

Oh, in my defense here (no need but hey), it's been said to me a few time by some girls/ladies they were charmed by my low voice 8) .. all I need now is to learn how to flirt and use charming words, I suppose.

*start googleing* 8O

Thanks for the well-wishes ProfessorX.

Erminea, I always think the same thing when I hear my voice played back. My singing is atrocious! It is not nearly that bad in my head :( Weird isnt it? I hear my voice as being much more of a cute perky little girl voice but when played back I hear a low pitched flat .. something :?

I think most folks do experience it as somewhat alien when hearing their voice played back.... Um, sometimes when I sing out loud (not recorded) I kinda think yeah, that not so bad but probably that's a bit biased. I wonder how professional singers (F/M) experience this.

Maybe best just to sing 'away' carefree and don't be bothered about how others might perceive it. (hey, that could be a somewhat cryptic signature or something)

I do think all people experience it as well. But I still find it strange. I do not understand why I would hear my own voice as being higher pitched than it is. And interestingly enough, my boyfriend has the opposite problem. He hears his as being lower than it is.

I find it all rather odd. I have also wondered what professional singers hear.

Speaking of voices, mine has always been low but, atleast it's understood most of the time though..I can recall how I actually learned how to sing when I was 11yrs old but, that has been so long now my voice from a singing aspect is nowhere what it used to be so, I just sing unto myself like when I'm walking with my cd player playing...

mitharatowen, your most welcome for the sincere gesture..

Jeez, I wrote four replies in the last fifteen minutes or so and was four times (1x interview, 3x games section thread) too late. Bugger.
