it is obvious that the hatchling got away from the snake that entwined it because the snake could not figure out an angle from which to bite it, and the hatchling wriggled free. there were no scene changes during that sequence.
it is curious that there seemed to be only one hatchling running along, and there was a huge population of snakes that could not have survived in that environment before the hatchling season started.
if one snake got the hatchling in the video, then what would the rest have done? attack that snake?
whatever. i am always cynical, but the footage is surely very compelling and it is impossible to look away.
