The current political climate has caused giant spiders to become a very real and very serious problem. Although the population of spiders has risen only a little since prehistoric times, their behaviour has changed drastically. They now regularly prey on humans. Historically, deaths have been low, with only one or two confirmed deaths a year and an estimated six unconfirmed (worldwide). However, this year, the number has risen to eleven confirmed in the USA alone and ninety-seven worldwide. An official estimate of total deaths has not yet been released.

I really hate that the avatars are much bigger and easier to see since the upgrade on Wrong Planet.

I really love it when cartoon characters make up a disease name simply by putting "itis" at the end of a word. I have never have a nerd attack because I totally do not know that a disease ending in "itis" really means the inflammation of something, such as tonsillitis.

I also really don't feel embarrassed about posting three times in a row. :oops:
