I just watch Star Trek, Doctor Who, Digimon, and Clannad. I've been trying to stop watching them, but to limited success.

I remember when I used to volunteer on Tuesdays. I've started out each shift with an apple strudel every day for the 8 years that I've volunteered. I'd grab one before the rest were cut in half. That's when Tuesday meant something special to me.

If you mean using empty visual effects to fill in the horrible I agree.

There are more stuff though, more choice. Overall I have to disagree. People with a vision and intelligence and depth can create things that are way better.

Ambiance aren't lame like it was then.

And there's work of depth on the characters. Characters are very important, without them, no story. Characters have become way more complex and real. Unless you watch Smallville or Mutant X, sure...

Well Danae, there have been some improvements here and there in terms of television shows which have been innovative and thought provoking that I can acknowledge though, there is also the notion of using traditional themes for some shows to get across to the audience as if TV producers seem to think the audience is dumb somehow.

I think I understand what you meant. Even now what's just on tv is ultimately lame and boring, and poor. My point is it's not a matter of time or means. Those who are good are. Now it's more open, tolerant maybe, so to speak, so more stuff with equal amount of s**t proportionally, but more chances for people who are really good. You still can choose.

Talking about food, it could be useful to really eat. Tired though. Already thinking about tomorrow, appointment.

I'm trying to learn how to enjoy the here and now. Very hard for me, always projecting. Well right now there's little luminosity, it's rather quiet and my older cat is purring next to me, happy lying on the couch. And it feels like there's no tomorrow, in the sense happy now forever in between night and day. Not true, but enjoyable enough. I wish I could share that with Mulder, projecting a more pessimistic way I do, no back-up facts, or people. Just that moment, even.if it's so little. Works for me. I'm worried about him. In depth.

Danae, you make a concise/valid point for just as there are crappy producers there are many person's whom have come up with unique content. Also there is more choice these days.

You're having a bad day!

Not as worse as yesterday -- where I get to work on a laptop that hangs a lot that it took me 2 hours to scan and print mere 14 pages. :x I was very frustrated as my patience running out.

This online friend of mine, whom I respect, knew my thinking is a bit odd. He says it's 'unique', but he didn't knew it's just a dash of autism.
:| He respects me so much, more than I do back at him, that he might punch someone on the face if someone calls me autistic thinking I'm being insulted by that fact. Sigh... I will clear that part once if such moment comes.
