I had no idea WP was a popularity contest. Is it? I always thought it was just another fourm to get answers and advice.

It is, but a hierarchy has formed, and the people who don't really have a solid place in it get ignored.

No, it looks like a lizard's face. It reminds me of my bearded dragon, Pippin. Maybe it's the color.
