I've seen children as young as four years age be condescending. But only to people they know well.

If the kid didn't know you, I would doubt that the intention was condescension.

It's chilly.
I love it when you can say it's chilly and you live in the sunshine state.
My winter clothes are so much better than my usual clothes because I've hardly worn them.

^I am masterful at staring into space for no particular reason. My eyes are small and I don't have to open them that wide, and I'm usually wearing sunglasses, but, as if to make up for that, my stare is extremely intense.

I like seeing people smile. Lots of people walk around frowny, but I also get smiles back. I bet it feels better than when someone gets a frown back!
