Yeah I am not a super great gamer but I can hold my own, few things I can do right. I normally play on hard but never on the hardest difficulty, I have been playing games for 22 years since I was 4. Sometimes I venture to the hardest difficulty but when I do its for the challenge and I expect to die a lot. Premadeath is an interesting concept and I might roll with it on Doom. Right now I am on Nightmare trying to find all the secrets on level one, at least I killed everyone so I can explore in peace. One secret left, I am going back to my Ultra-Violence for a second play through too though to get what I missed.

What I don't understand is Dark Souls, game is really easy actually up until Dragon Slayer Ornstein & Executioner Smough, wtf. I can beat them and the one time I did the game just up and Fs you at Seath the Scaleless. I don't understand how anyone can beat that and I am pretty decent at hardcore old school NES games. I might go back to Dark Souls but I really do hate it. I love its gameplay but I hate everything else about it.

I just think things a bit ahead.
And, I don't think of things as a necessity for it doesn't motivate me. I treat necessity like a short term inconvenience.
So I think a bit ahead so it WONT feel like I forced myself, because it's a goddamn necessity.

I'll admit I've played various video games though, was never super great at them in terms of how well I excelled game play wise.MarvelHeroe2016, is the only game I've managed to do fairly good with and not have people lambaste me for my performance during a team action as such.

Made it level 3 on Ultra Nightmare, saved it but it still has premadeath so I am nervous to proceed but I think I'll stick with it and actually do it. While I never won the original Doom on Nightmare, I did do knee deep in the dead on that difficulty. You can save at the end of each level on Ultra Nightmare. I think I am going to practice on Nightmare and then finish on Ultra Nightmare. So I am using all three save slots, one for Ultra-Violence, Nightmare and Ultra Nightmare.

WOOT WOOT

Doom is awesome,

Even in the afternoon, I always find time to drink some coffee.

Same here. I'm drinking some right now and it's almost 5 in the afternoon where I live.

I just brought a thinkpad,

No regrets though I hate to fit into that internet meme of a Linux user with a cheap thinkpad.

Don't think thats a meme?

See this,

I am about to be myself,

What do you think of thinkpad if you don't mind me asking? It might be up your alley since Linux and Unix and BSD users tend to think highly of them.

I think very highly of them. I own some old IBM ones and I've got 3 Lenovos.

Great compatability with FreeBSD, OpenBSD & Linux!

Speaking of which, I got out my old Sun Microsystems silver SunBlade 1500 last weekend, repaired it and installed Solaris 10 on it. :)

Hi Kazan. You'll have to find some really jazzy music for when I post the picture of my 1 litre jug of Milo. I downed it in under 5 minutes.

Cool I got the Lenovo ThinkPad T430 and its quite the upgrade from my past laptop. I'd never spend that much on a laptop cause I am always home with my Desktop but the deal I got was so good. $200, advertised as great condition so we will see. If it meets most of my exceptions, I'll be happy at that price. I paid $100 for my dell seven years ago and its in really bad shape, no battery and good luck running anything pass Quake 2 on it.

The baby I got has 8 GBs of Ram and i5 and I don't need anything more on the go, if fact the Intel 4000 even runs some decent games. So I might just pull it out and play some Half Life 2 in front of my doctor to show her how much I don't care what she has to say.
