I just offered my services as a proofreader to a company that made a spelling error in their job advertisement. It is likely that nothing will come of it, but I didn't lose anything by trying.

What a beautiful day it is on the Gold Coast today!
It's overcast and cool, though still comfortably warm,
there's a refreshing breeze and we might get some rain.
It's a nice change from the sweltering heat and the horrible humidity recently.

Recovered from the bike-ride?
I climbed Mt Nathan on Saturday, what a slog!
An hour to get up it, then only half an hour to get down.

When I got back to the car, this guy drove out of his house,
pulled up beside me, and asked (fairly aggressively)
"Can I help you, mate!?"
I've been accosted by people concerned about suspicious characters sussing out their
properties before, so I grinned wildly and said,
"I've just been bushwalking, mate, I just wanted to climb Mt Natham!
It was Awesome! "

He went Ugh, and drove off!
