Yeah I am fine but there is a lot damage and the smell is giving me a headache. I don't know why water would smell but its hard to describe, I think it may have fried some of the buildings electrical system. I am going to get out of the house and my bubble and go grab some food so I'll brb.

I saw Adam, too. Great movie.

I'm glad they got together, ultimately.

I hadn't actually seen the ending, Kraftie.

But I guessed that would be the case.

I got too tired to stay up and watch the end.

It's already 0741hrs and I'm not even at work yet. I slept in

What exactly happened, DCJ?

I'm glad you're okay.

It's a pain in the butt, though. To be potentially displaced.

I hope all your stuff is fixed soon.

I think when carpet becomes intensely wet and is not properly dried shall we say, it will reek of a terrible odor literally, more than likely you might need servepro or some sort of industrial cleaning agency once everything has been restored electrical wise.

I am not 100% sure but they have been installing this new air condition in our building and you see those black pipes, they go to this said system. I don't know how air conditioners work that well or why they need to mess with these pipes but something with the work they are doing in our building didn't work and this was the end result.

I think everyone is okay but being in a high rise sucks without an elevator. When I was downstairs, all the residents or my neighbors were talking about it and some on the 8th and 9th floor had some pretty bad damage they took a picture of. I have not been on the 9th floor but my understanding is that its the worse.

lol now you have me curious, brb and I might bring pics of the 9th floor back.

Well no pics of the 9th floor, it didn't really look that bad in the hall actually, just some yellow spots, I'll post if you want but it looks okay and actually smells better... slightly but anyway I brought something better. They are installing these pipes and this was the rupture point. I figured with the wide range of special interest here that maybe someone here knows what they were trying to do here. I could learn hvac stuff if I wanted but I just don't have the interest... yet... lol

Living on your own has that same good feeling like when you're a kid and your parents go away on holidays and leave you alone only this time, they're not coming back. :)

Whenever they went out when I was a kid, I used to wish they never came back.

Wouldn't the sky look better if it was purple.

"Needs more Chimpanzee" is a phrase I coined once by accident.

Sometimes, I talk to myself, it helps me relax.

I have a lot of non-sequiturs floating around in my brain, its good to release them from time to time.

You probably all think I'm really weird, don't you? :P

LOL! And in the original context the line really didn't make a lot of sense.
