I am glad that during my morning exercise, it was cloudy and gray and cool and dewy. that made for perfect exercise weather.

My stepfather, who was hospitalized with pneumonia, is in stable condition and is on antibiotics. They may let him out of the hospital as early as tomorrow.

Thanks! I arranged them by gauge (vertically) and by color (horizontally)
I like rainbows too. After I posted this pic I realized that it must've looked pretty autistic to line those up and stuff.

The second batch would probably arrive in a day or two. I will post a pic of all my 114 picks then.

this is a thread that i would like to contribute to, but i do not know if i am happy or just complacent.
i certainly have nothing to complain about, but does that result in inevitable happiness?

i mean, if happiness is the opposite of sadness, then if i feel no sadness, that does not mean i feel maximum happiness. it just means i feel nothing. and nothing feels better to feel than anything else.

"nothing feels good". hang on. now we're into a quasi yin yang cycle which ordains that if "nothing feels good, then everything feels bad".

when i say "we're", i do not include myself really, but i used the word in order to seem more friendly and inclusive. i never feel sad because i always predict the outcomes of circumstances that may be deleterious to my contentment, and i deal with them (which is a hassle) before they become problems for me.
i never needed anyone else to "bounce myself off", because i would not think i would bounce too well, and they would get injured.

but if "happy" means "never sad" then i am happy. but "happy" does not mean "never sad", so i live in a state of perpetual indifference.
a neutrality of affect.
