I'm better off without a job, to tell you the truth. I already get $100 a month for volunteering. I know the people that I volunteer with, like they're family. There are so many things to having a real job. You have to be tidy, you have to have stamina, you have to be fast, which is the area that I have problems with, you have to get along with your co-workers, you can't let your anger and emotions show, and than there's the jail warden supervisor that I had to deal with. I'm going solo.

Yesterday I read Wind in the Willows for the very first time in my life, as an adult. Actually I was looking for the Watership Down instead and those two books were mistaken by me.

I get chest pains if I eat too much.

I almost killed myself yesterday when a vitamin got stuck in my throat. I could breathe, but it was very painful. I was drinking lots of hot water to melt it, then I thought oh god, I have to throw up so I lifted the toilet lid and looked into the bowl but I couldn't take the eye contact. The toilet is stronger than I am so I staggered away holding on to this and that, heaving, tears streaming down my face. Finally, after what seemed 6 months, the vitamin, a gel cap kind burst and the lovely aroma of lemon flavored fish oil exuded from my esophagus. How do I embark on these adventures all by myself, when I'm just sitting here minding my own business?

I am someone with a phobia of choking, and that story is absolutely horrifying to me. :pale:

What makes it even worse is that my psychiatrist told me today that I need to start taking vitamins (B6 to be exact)...

Oh dear. I didn't mean to horrify! Look, if it helps you feel any better, they have liquid vitamins that you can get in healthfood stores. I used to work in the vitamin department of a health food store and people would get them for all kinds of reasons like difficulty swallowing, dislike of pills, etc. They have liquid B vitamins (I don't know about B6 specifically), liquid minerals and liquid multis for kids or adults. They can be pricey, but sometimes the stores get in samples. Good luck!

I suppose the truth I just stated was I know a bit about liquid vitamins! haha

I feel strange, without a job to go to.

Don't worry about it. There was no way you could have known about my phobia. :) The truth is, I'm not afraid to swallow pills (anymore). In fact, I have to do it every day.

It's just that I really hate reading stories or watching things on TV where someone gets something stuck in their throat, because I had a couple of bad choking incidents in my childhood.

I really love my younger brother and look up to him, even though he doesn't believe me when I tell him that. :)
