Why did I bother showing up to this class?

Out of the whole library, I unknowingly picked a novel (a sci-fi) which has an autism research centre as one of its settings.
When I first saw the word 'autism' a few pages in, I read it and reread it about ten times.
I don't know why, but I couldn't help thinking it was some kind of misprint

Here comes the rain (again). It's been raining a lot for a week. Part of me is happy about it, we've been using very pure water from very deep here, and it starts missing. Sometimes 12L for a little pee flush? I use 3 and it's already too much. There's a technique whether for the toilets ot taps, basically replacing water with air.Works well, same feeling. As long as there's no thunderstorm this evening, I'll go to a duende gig, with animation. Totally like me... I'll meet friends there but I'll go by myself. So I can leave whenever I want.
