I met bucephalus a couple of months ago. Nice chap, is Chris. Doesn't half look like a much younger Alan Igbon though - the spitting image, in fact. Got a very blank look off him when I told him that though. ;)

Thanks, I don't really know Alan Igbon though. The only person i can think of that might look like me is Craig Charles

Under the right conditions everyone is game. There is usually something of interest in an anyone.

However, I find walking up to a strange group, and say just shaking hands, to be jarring to the senses. Overall it's a quick constellation of input ... a lot of tracking here, and I suppose this from the extra exertion needed 'to listen' from my end...It's difficult.

I like relaxed environments to where there is no social protocol or expectations, where everything is open as in speaking what is directly in the innards of your mind... it flows, you don't have the pressure on your back to perform.

I agree, mostly.

That reminds me! Yesterday I went to the movies with some friends that I had known for a long time. Buuuuut, they brought along a friend I didn't know. I was fine, because it was just one person. But THEN, she went to the whole theatre and asked if anyone wanted to play a game, and I just about had a nervous breakdown.

I think more regulated environments are better. Or, better put. There needs to be something we are supposed to do, so if you can't think of anything to speak about, you can be doing something instead of awkwardly stimming.

There's tons of people here I'd like to meet - I never name names in these threads though for fear of leaving someone out.

However, I am actually going to meet Lilya & her NT friend tomorrow...

Aspies are human to, after all.

I do have a few people in mind that I would like to meet. I won't name names, though. Those important enough to know, already do.

And than some.....

I'd have to make myself intresting to you :D and that sounds like more effort than it's worth, :P if I did want to meet somebody here it would have to be someone who's like me , awesomely ordinary , any here match that descriription of cause not most of you are overeducated and overachiveing.

Being serious for a moment your a tough crowd , would I really want to be in the company of someone who thinks on alomst every level (though not all) their superior to most of the people on this planet?

Uh... I'm a high school drop-out with no job, no money, and two kids. Oh... and a soon to be ex husband.

Over educated and over achieving my ass.

Also, what makes you think I feel superior to anyone?
