I'm wrestling with a really bad migraine. So far, the migraine's winning.

^ I'm so sorry.
I know how horrible those migraines can be.
Hope it doesn't keep its hold on you too long.

From my understanding hydrocodone is good for those but that is a controlled substance is most places. It is legal in the US but they are working hard on making it illegal. Its a pain med and its in the same family as heroin but its so distant, its barely the same. That is not a fair comparison, hydrocodone only has medical value to me. All it does recreationally is make you tired... oh and kill you. It very potent in small dosages.

Omg. Went to the HOA meeting. All I can say is DRAMA MAMA. I probably should have stayed home. The one I said was going to be a problem (Amanda) ran over me like a f'n freight train. I almost just left because one was trying to not ok me being on the Board and I bet that's because the guy that I took the place of probably told her about me, but I made it on. Then we discussed some stuff like an assessment. Amanda had been running her big mouth about it saying how much we needed it for weeks then tonight she says "It doesn't matter what we decide, I won't be able to pay it." WTH?! Screw that. I guess she's off the Board then. HOWEVER, I also don't think she should get a say in what the assessment goes for either. She just had her building painted last year and now she's wanting to pass an assessment for the parking lot and sidewalks to be redone - especially in front of her place! This is after she made the decision to take the buildings off of the paint schedule AND Mary just told me tonight that Amanda also just had her deck done! F this! She won't have anything to worry about now will she? She gets this assessment put through and doesn't pay anything and she can just not pay her dues and still live in her condo! I wouldn't doubt if that's what she plans to do. Well, I may have been Little Miss Passivity this evening, but next week I'm going to be like a bull in a China shop!
Then our property manager got fired.
Then the guy on the Board got into a fight with this other guy that's painting one of our buildings and the police were called and now the job still isn't completed. They don't even want the guy back on the property. See what I mean about drama? I should have just remained a hermit.

when i look at all of my big trees in my backyard (above), i delight in the fact that i own them, and then i get paranoid that someone will steal them, so i have decided to get a very long chain and chain them all together and affix the chain with a sturdy padlock to one of the stakes in the chicken wire fence in the foreground.
then i will have peace of mind and all life's worries will be solved. the date is wrong on the picture.

How can someone steal so big trees? Someone could however cut them down if they block the view for a neighbour for example

i was joking. the joke is on many levels.
the main part was that no matter how strong the chain and padlock, to then just secure it to a flimsy wooden stake in the ground (which can be pulled out by hand) is absurd. like chaining up a bike to a golf tee.

also,

1. no one would steal a tree that big from a private backyard even if they had the means to since there are millions of them in the bush.
2. the logistics of transporting a tree that big would mean that they would have to get a big front end loader down the side path to get to the back yard and then they would have to use a crane to winch it on to a semi trailer (tractor trailer) etc etc.
3. the chance that they could do that while i slept so that when i woke up in the morning they were all gone (without waking me) is non existent.

etc. sorry if you took it literally.

Something weird happened today. I woke up to a text from my boss mentioning a skills meeting we need to attend will be canceled. I just thought I would send a text of what day I was going and leave it at that since I had received the text 4 hrs earlier. I didn't think that she would answer back right then with some funny pictures. I'm a person who when I even see my bosses coming in my direction I find the nearest emergency exit. Now I'm swapping texts with my boss when I'm still in my jammies?! Wth? 8O

Sometimes I just feel like life would be easier if I could design a button I could press when I am having a conversation with someone to just feel the effects of cannabis if that answer any questions.

Nothing is impossible. They could slip some drugs into you to heavily sedate you.
