Kazan, that is the nature of humans. They always want more, better, etc.

Writing games is a no end deal until you reach reality on the screen which you will never do.
BUT

As a programmer of business software, they say to you, "I want a program to do X, Y & Z"

And you can do that for them, Perfectly. You can write them a program that does all that, garbage collection/memory management, no leeks etc. Runs perfectly and does ALL that they wanted it to do and does it flawlessly

But, as I said, human nature comes into it and then they come back to you saying, "Can you make it do this? Can you change it in that way?" etc.

Humans are never satisfied.

I've just recently written a HUGE program at work that can do 11 times faster than 1 human can do in any given period of time - and THEY'RE STILL NOT HAPPY! ***

P.S.
I'm going to win an award, get a HUGE promotion and get my own team of developers for what I've already done - and programming isn't even my job. I'm a Federal Officer and they've just stumbled on my ability to program and save them time and money. They also know I'm an Aspie.

*** they're still coming to me saying, "Can you make it do this? Can you make it do that?"

Which I can, but my point is... End users are never satisfied.

And God forbid, your code may actually have a bug in it, despite the fact that you told them, this may be so, suddenly, you're the doctor that killed their relative.

You get very little appreciation for all the wonderful and magical stuff you can do with code and all the vehement when it doesn't do exactly what they want, God forbid a crash!

I fully understand as, some persons seek perfection in various aspects of life, in that some people are never happy with a service nor product

Not quite.

I give them what they ask for and it works flawlessly.

BUT, as an Aspie, I keep going when most NT's would say, "It's done!"

The perfectionist in me won't let me rest until I am 110% satisfied and happy with what I'm doing (if I care about what I'm doing).

Even if it's just a question mark or an exclamation mark missing from text inside of a msgbox, I can't rest until everything is "JUST RIGHT!"

You had me thinking there for a minute. I forgot I made that remark to kyle.

"Real Friends" - When I refer to real friends, I mean humans on WP I really consider to be real friends like you, dcj, Raleigh, auntblabby and others, etc.

I am friends with no one because apparently much like our world leaders, I can't make a point without detonating nuclear weapons.

I've seen the "real" you, even at times you've been at your all time lowest and PM'ed me. You're not such a bad dude.
In fact, I'd go so far as to say, you're a really decent dude and if we lived in the same country, I'd be more than happy to take you for a drink!

We'll both toast and I may even toke. I'd love that. I have always planned on going to The States and I finally have the money, leave and opportunity to do it. And I have always LOVED The South. I know it sounds weird but I think (as much as I don't believe in reincarnation) I once lived in Coffee County, Georgia. - A LONG time ago.

All of my life (this life), I have felt the pull to America. It's as though I was born in the wrong place and I've always felt out of place here, the pull to put things right and to relocate. It's just not that easy.

Thanks, as I have Native American ancestry in my bloodline on both sides of my family wherein, I enjoy the Native American perspective or take upon autism as a whole.

That makes me think of that Russian Naval fleet heading towards Syria via the English Channel

I have always had a natural affinity for Native Americans. I have recently styled my diet on theirs.
I have ancestors who went to America and one of them apparently married a Cheyenne woman but I don't know if her bloodline runs into mine.
